Love is... the freedom of a celebrant led wedding ceremony.

Express your love for each other however you want, wherever you want and at the time you want.

When you have chosen your date and have contacted me, we will have an initial, no obligations meeting where I can introduce myself and we can get to know each other. I am confident that you will then decide to engage my services as your celebrant and this is what follows:

  • A meeting, preferably, face to face with you both, or on-line, where we start planning together. I will listen to your wishes, hopes and dreams and will create a vision for your perfect ceremony. Drawing on my vast experience and creativity, we can look at music or readings you want to include, whether you want to perform a wedding ritual, and will help you if you want to write your own vows separately or together.
  • At this meeting I will provide you each with a questionnaire to fill in and return to me, to allow me to really get to know you both as an individual, as a couple and to learn about your lives together.
  • I will then write a personalised and unique ceremony script that tells your story. At this point you can make any additions or adjustments and we will work together to make sure it is what you want.
  • If required, I will attend and officiate at any rehearsal for the ceremony with you and other guests to give you total peace of mind.
  • On the day I will lead you and your guests through the ceremony, allowing you to be fully present, relaxed and able to enjoy every special moment.
  • I can provide a keepsake ceremony certificate for you to sign during the ceremony.
  • I will present you with a keepsake transcript of the ceremony.

“Love is friendship that has caught fire. It is quiet understanding, mutual confidence, sharing and forgiving. It is loyalty through good and bad times. It settles for less than perfection and makes allowances for human weaknesses”

- Ann Landers

It is important to note:

As yet in England, a celebrant-led wedding ceremony is not legally binding

You will need to register your marriage or civil partnership before the date of the main celebration

This is usually done at your local registry office with two witnesses present for a small fee.

I can help guide you through this process.
